OMG I DID IT!!
Yes, Yes, Yes!!! Stick the fork in I am done. I was happy to do this for Karen but I must say I'm so glad I don't do wholesale any more. Because after the first few you start thinking of how much you have left and how little time there is to get it done. Not to mention the major take over of every surface of my house. No wait that's every day. Haha not really, well maybe a little. Anyway like I have said before. It's one thing to make something that someone comes into the store and picks up, and thinks to themselves ooo I like this and they buy it. It's totally different to make something for someone that has expectations. You know the whole unmet expectations or met ones you just never know what you might get. Can you say STRESSFUL! Anyway it's done. Now I'm on to the next project. I get to do 3 of these babies for some triplets. Yes it's another expectations thing but hey it's all part of it. This is a sample of the box for their 1st birthday.
I did this as a sample for the mom because she needed something bigger to put all their first year keepsakes in there. It's actually cuter than I thought. I don't usually do these though. So we will see how it goes and don't you know you will see these later.
Hope all you moms out there had a super Mothers Day!

Latest box
Here's the latest box. I love this one too. Which I think I say that about most of the boxes because they are my favorite. I think I may have a box fetish. Hey at least it's not a foot fetish ( like the guy on the bachelorette). Weird for sure. Any who I just had a person order 22 of these boxes so I better love them because they are going to be coming out my ears or my nose. Just kidding. But really they will be all over my house until May 10th which is my deadline to have these done. I think I can I think I can ..... You get it. I doubt I will be taking pics of those well maybe a few. We'll see. I guess I should go get busy on those while my kiddos are at school. Hope all is well with you and yours.

Got Mud?
Daddy coaching him on his start |
My little guy giving me the peace sign. I just love that little guy |
He's getting ready to start the race and mommy is so nervous for him. Its a jungle out there you know.
Here's my big guy thinking about his race. He is my competitive one. No really like he is intense about this stuff. My little guy just wants to have fun. He's not competitive, he's like his mama. |
This is what I spent my Sunday doing. It was a benefit race in Guthrie, OK Supported by OCCRA racers. Despite the cold temps and rain these guys and gals go out and have fun doing it. It truly is a good time. My hands were freezing and my toes were numb by the time it was all said and done. My guys were covered in mud. It made me think of the days of making mud pies in grandmas backyard and she would just hose us down with the water hose. Because making mud pies is a dirty job you know. Anyway its fun going and watching the two boys in my life have fun in their element.
